I had a flu shot last week at our office. It was actually offered to the employees including their beneficiaries at a discounted rate. Just taking precaution to combat the widespread A(H1N1)virus. Philippines has more than 40 reported individual affected by the A(H1N1) virus. The count was very low compare to other countries where there were also reported fatalities.
Some universities in the metro were forced to extend opening of classes due to reported students that got affected by the flu virus. The Department of Health's (DOH) information drive somehow helped the public become aware and how to prevent from contracting disease.
The flu virus has become a pandemic according to World Health Organization. So please take heed and do necessary precautions.
