Earth Day at Starbucks

Starbucks is joining the world in celebrating Earth Day by reducing the impact of its cups on the environment. Starbucks provides a P40 discount starting today and tomorrow on customer’s beverage if they have their drinks in their personal tumblers/mugs. Our team grabbed the discount offered at Starbucks, of course one way of showing we do care for mother earth. With me are, Eri,Sab,and Madie. Thanks to Alvin who took this shot using his IPhone. =)

I Dreamed a Dream, Susan Boyle

Susan Boyle, the 47 year old Scot lady stunned millions of people around the world. She became instant celebrity after her performance in the TV show "Britain's Got Talents". She sang I dreamed a dream from the Les Miserables. I watched her performance on youtube Susan Boyle - "I Dreamed a Dream" and it just made my day! Amazing voice and stunning performance!

It was so moving. The audience and the judges were cynical at first but when Boyle opened her mouth to sing, the judgmental crowd were surprised.
